The short version. We collect what we need to run Apparel Pro and nothing more. We don't sell personal information, we don't show ads, and the app itself has no ad trackers. Your shop's customer records belong to your shop.
This policy covers apparelpro.app, app.apparelpro.app and the customer portal links shops send their customers. "We" means Battle Born Clothing LLC.
1. Two kinds of people
- Shops and their teams who sign up for Apparel Pro. For their account information, we decide how it's used, and this policy applies directly.
- Shops' customers — the people who get quotes and invoices from a shop and use its portal. Their information is collected by the shop and handled by us on the shop's behalf. The shop's own privacy policy applies to them; contact the shop first about that information. We only use it to run the service for that shop.
2. What we collect
From shops
- Account details: shop name, your name, email, phone number, website, and what you tell us on the signup form.
- Billing: your plan, billing email and Square customer and subscription IDs. Card details are entered on Square's page and stay with Square; we never see or store card numbers.
- Shop data: everything you put in the app — customers, quotes, invoices, prices, artwork and files, team members, and settings.
- Connection keys: keys you add for Square, Shippo, S&S Activewear, SanMar and similar services, stored encrypted.
- Sign-in and security data: sign-in times, the device and browser used, and IP addresses, to keep accounts secure.
From shops' customers (on the shop's behalf)
- Contact details, quote and order details, and artwork, as entered by the shop or submitted through the shop's quote form.
- Portal activity: when a quote or invoice was opened, when sizes were changed, and when terms were accepted or artwork approved — with the name typed, the time and the IP address. Shops use this as a record of what was agreed.
- Payments are made on Square's page in the shop's own Square account. We record the amount and status, not card details.
From website visitors
- Our marketing website (apparelpro.app) uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets Google Analytics cookies. You can block them with your browser or Google's opt-out add-on.
- The app (app.apparelpro.app) uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and no analytics or advertising cookies.
3. How we use it
- To run the service: show your data, calculate prices, send the emails you trigger (quotes, invoices, receipts, sign-in links, notifications), and do what you ask with connected services.
- To bill you and manage your subscription.
- To keep accounts and data secure, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To give support and fix problems.
- To tell account owners about important changes to the service, their account or these policies. We won't send marketing email without your permission.
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't use your shop data to advertise to anyone.
4. Who we share it with
Only with the service providers that run Apparel Pro, and only what each one needs:
- Cloudflare — hosting, database and file storage.
- Square — our subscription billing, and your own customer payments when you connect Square.
- Resend — sending email.
- Google — analytics on the marketing website only.
- Services you connect — Shippo, S&S Activewear, SanMar or an AI assistant get the data needed for what you ask them to do, such as a ship-to address for a rate or the lines of a supplier order.
We'll also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or as part of a sale of the business (with the new owner bound by this policy).
5. How long we keep it
- Shop data is kept while the account is active and for up to 12 months after it ends, unless the shop asks us to delete it sooner. Then we delete it, apart from records we must keep, such as billing records for tax purposes.
- Sign-in links expire after 20 minutes (invites after 7 days). Old sign-in sessions expire after 30 days.
- A shop can delete its customers' records or ask us to.
6. Security
Everything travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Connection keys are encrypted with a separate key before they're stored. Sign-in is by single-use emailed links, so there are no passwords to steal. Each shop's data is kept separate from every other shop's. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your information, we'll tell you promptly.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can see and change most of your information in the app. To get a copy, correct something, or delete your account, email support@apparelpro.app.
- California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising. Email us to use these rights; we'll verify the request comes from you.
- If you're one of a shop's customers, contact that shop first. We'll help the shop respond.
8. Children
Apparel Pro is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes here with a new date. For important changes we'll email account owners before they take effect.
